We loved this place - quiet little hotel.
It was recently renovated, modest and with a large bed. Had good location almost right by the lake, next to Trenino Turistico Ascona.

We were thrilled with the wonderful location of this hotel and the friendly staff made us feel at home in the newly decorated rooms with a large bed, and the convenient amenities like an electric kettle and refrigerator were a nice bonus.

Exceptionally comfortable bed and marvellous location next to restaurant which was a lot of noise till late in the night. Impeccably clean room and bathroom with walk-in showers. Helpful service throughout our stay.

The rooms were comfortable, clean and quite new with just enough space. The staff was really helpful and friendly. Good value for money stay!
The reception was not at the hotel building but at another hotel, which we were not aware of. It was confusing and took a phone call to figure out where the reception was located.

Perfect location in the center of Ascona, in a stone's throw from the lakeside yet in a quiet street and away from the sun, which compensates the absence of air conditioning.
No air conditioning (which is somewhat compensated by the location of the hotel), no tea/coffee facilities, a long walk to the beach (about 30 minutes) with no possiblility to use public transport (but this is a drawback of most Ascona hotels).
